Brazil’s national team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari expects a great game between his team and England.

The match will be played later on this Sunday at the refurbished Maracanã stadium. The English beat Brazil 2-1 the last time the teams met.

Scolari expects a good game, he told press: “It will be a well played game, with good technique, as both teams have talented players.

England have not played for a long time with long balls and crosses into the penalty area. It will be a match where both teams will get on the ball and the most balanced team will win.”

Felipão also hopes that Brazilian fans support the team, he said: “I want to remind everyone that it’s the Brazilian national team that will be on the pitch, our team, not a team with players from this or that club.

I ask the fans to leave aside their clubs and come together to support the national team. I am sure that if we do our job, the fans will respond.”

He completed: “I am sure that if Brazil play well, the national team’s image among the fans will improve.”
