The last game in the second round of the 2013 Brasileirão was played out between Internacional and Criciuma at the Estádio Centenário, where the home eased to a 2-0 victory.

Internacional took the lead in the fourteenth minute through a deflected strike from Willians.

The ball rebounded to him in the box after good work from Fred created confusion in the Criciuma defence.

Just two minutes later Inter added a second as Rodrigo Moledo used his strength to rise above the defence to nod in D’Alessandro’s lofted ball.

Lins hit the bar for Criciuma late in the second half, in what was to be their last attempt of the game.

Inter seemed to be cruising in the second half, creating the occasional chance but were ultimately unable to add to their lead.

Young midfielder Fred was impressive again in Inter’s midfield, and was unlucky not to score in the second half when he hit the post.

Even at this early stage of the season, he looks like he could be becoming one of their key players.
