Promising Botafogo defender Dória is expected to leave the club soon, as investors are interested in signing him, according to reports in Brazil.

The group of investors known as DIS intend to buy 100% of his rights, which are currently owned by Botafogo and by a different group of investors linked to the BMG bank.

Botafogo only own 40% of his economic rights, and demand 8 million Euros to sell the young defender.

Dória has previously been linked to Italian clubs Juventus and Udinese, but Cruzeiro is now his most likely destination.

DIS could this way use Cruzeiro as a shop window, helping him increase his reputation and his market value before selling him for profit.

Cruzeiro"s director of football Alexandre Mattos has denied he could be in signed in such circumstances, he said:"Cruzeiro are not a shop window, if we make any good deal, it"s because it benefits Cruzeiro, as like Dedé.

If the board find one day that they have to sell the player, they will sell him, but the club will not be a shop window for any player."

Alexandre Mattos also denied they are interested in Dória, he said: “Cruzeiro"s only negotiation underway at the moment is with Souza [from Palmeiras].

They talk about Dória, just like they talked about Henrique and Arouca. Dória is a good player like they all are.

We are seeking players that can play for the club in long term, our bench now have under 23 players, Cruzeiro are in the right path."
