Málaga loanee Lucas Piazón has admitted that he would be open to leaving Chelsea in order to keep playing first-team football.

The 19-year-old Brazilian moved to La Rosaleda in January after making just one Premier League appearance, coming off the bench and missing a penalty during the 8-0 thrashing of Aston Villa in December.

Piazón has now hinted that he may not return to Stamford Bridge when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

He told Goal.com: “I was not playing every game there. They have big players and they were in a bad position at the time as Chelsea always want to be at the top.

“So it was hard for me not to be playing every game there, but here at Málaga I am playing almost every game, so for me it has been great for my career to be here and to get this experience.

“Chelsea will change manager [in the summer], so I think after the pre-season they will decide if they want me to stay there or send me to another club for next season. We do not know yet."

Although Piazón has played more minutes for Málaga than the Blues, featuring in 10 of their 14 league matches, he has found his recent opportunities limited to substitute appearances.

However, the young midfielder admits that while it is sometimes difficult, he is enjoying life on the south coast of Spain.

He added: “Sometimes it"s hard, but it"s normal. There"s pressure like in any job. It doesn"t affect me and I"m happy to be at Málaga, it"s a good club.

“Here I live near the beach. When it"s sunny we go to the beach or to the team hotel, which is near there. I also play tennis with my dad and I go to the gym. I like the lifestyle and food here, it"s similar to what I ate back home.

“I like Málaga because it"s similar to Brazil. I believe it"s better this way because I"m not a physical player, but more technical. The style of play in Spain and Brazil is not so different. The rhythm is slower and the players are not as physical as in England.

“What I want now is to play. If it happens in Chelsea I will be very, very happy, but if it happens here or for another club, I will be happy as well. That is what I want with my life for the next year. I just want to keep playing while I am young."
