Turkish giants Galatasaray have less than 24 hours to complete the permanent signing of Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.

The Brazilian has spent the last two campaigns on loan at the Türk Telekom Arena and the club now have the right to sign him outright for €6.5 million.

However, that option is only valid until April 30 and reports in Turkey suggest that the club will allow that deadline to pass without making a move.

The 29-year-old was netted by Juventus in July 2009 from Fiorentina for a fee in the region of €25m, but is expected to be placed on the transfer list should he return to Turin.

Melo has made more than 60 appearances in all competitions during two seasons with Galatasaray, scoring 13 goals in the process.

The Brazil international helped the club claim the Süper Lig and Turkish Super Cup titles last season.
