PSG’s Thiago Silva has denied reports linking the defender away from the club in the summer and says he is happy to be part of their plans next season.

The Brazil defender says he is happy to be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s ambitions for the future and believes PSG can get even better.

“I’m glad to be part of an evolving team,” the 28-year-old told le 10 Sport. “I’m happy in Paris, I’m happy to play with great players and to be part of an ambitious project.

“We were eliminated in the Champions League quarter finals but we played well in both games. Today, I hope that with my team-mates we will form an even stronger team.”

PSG could be crowned champions next weekend with a win over Valenciennes should results elsewhere fall in their favour.
