Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has ended his early his post-match press conference in Belo Horizonte, after objecting to a question over his future.

Scolari, who has won just one of his five fixtures at the helm of the national team since returning last December, was asked whether he would resign should Brazil fail at the Confederations Cup.

Refusing to answer, the 2002 World Cup winning coach simply said: "No response. It"s a joke." He then left the room.

The question was also criticised by CBF press officer Rodrigo Paiva, who was conducting proceedings at the press conference.

Scolari had previously been asked about the fans booing his team throughout the late stages of the match, saying: "We did not play well. If we had played better, the crowd would have reacted better.

"We did not have as many opportunities as in the other game [v Bolivia] and we had some difficulties. We didn"t get the crowd on our side, I shouldn"t criticise.

"There is no relationship with the crowd, because we are not fully tuned as a team yet. When we have time to train ahead of the Confederations Cup, then we will have chance to improve."
