Neymar believes that no player is guaranteed a place in Brazil’s national team squad, regardless of how important they might be at the team.
The squad arrived yesterday in Belo Horizonte as Brazil get ready for Wednesday’s friendly against Chile.
The Santos star talked to reporters near Brazil’s hotel, he said: “Nobody is guaranteed a place in Brazil’s national team squad.”
“Everyone here wants a place in the squad, this is another game we need to do well.”
Neymar also expressed his happiness for the fans support, as young females ones known as neymarzetes were yelling his name. He said: “It’s nice to hear the supporters do that. They have to do their best to support as that’s what the players like. That encourage us and make us run a lot more.”
The game against Chile will be played Wednesday night at the Mineirão stadium in Belo Horizonte. Brazil beat Bolivia 4-0 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra early this month.
