The 6th round of the Taça Rio started yesterday, with six games.

Vasco beat Quissamã 3-1, in what was maybe the last time Dedé played a home game for the club, as he is reportedly close to joining Cruzeiro.

Despite the very low attendance, less than 900 paying fans, Dedé did not disappoint as he scored Vasco’s first goal.

Carlos Tenorio, who might also leave the club, extended the lead as Vasco dominated the game.

Marquinho scored a consolation goal for Quissamã, and a penalty awared to Vasco near the end of the game was converted by Thiaguinho.

The result means that newly-promoted Quissamã have been relegated to Rio de Janeiro’s Second Division.
