Bayern’s Brazilian players Dante and Rafinha are happy with their team’s historic 9-2 win against Hamburg for the German Bundesliga.
The Bavarians are close to winning the league title, but the manner they beat Hamburg surprised even their own players.
Dante told press: “we had a fantastic start, the team took advantage of the spaces left by Hamburg, so the goals happened. I have never played a game like that, with such a big score. But I was happy that the team played so well. We are very close to lifting the trophy”.
The national team defender is now focusing on the upcoming European Champions League game against Juventus, he said: “We now have to rest because we will face Juventus on Tuesday, It won’t be an easy game against them”.
Former Coritiba right-back Rafinha was also surprised with the result, he said: “I didn’t expect that score, but this was another good game we had this season. We played well and created chances”.
He completed: “I hope we can do that against Juventus, because it will be a game between two great teams”.
