21:30 – Italy hit back through De Rossi and a superb Balotelli strike to earn a deserved draw in the second half. 76′ – SUBSTITUTION. Marcelo comes on at left-back as Felipe Luis leaves the pitch.

75′ – CHANCE! Great block from Dante as he goes to ground to block Balotelli’s strike and send it over the bar.

71′ – Balotelli wins a free-kick after a foul by Serie A rival Hernanes, which the former Manchester City star is not happy about.

69′ – YELLOW CARD. Another Brazil booking after Felipe Luis puts in a late, heavy tackle as Italy look to break.

67′ – SUBSTITUTION. Emanuele Giaccherini goes off for Andrea Poli.

60′ – Non-stop action at the Stade de Geneve this evening. Neymar and Oscar combine and Fred shoots from the top of the box but it trickles just wide of the post.

34′ – Great move from Brazil to take the lead. The Italians have undoubtedly dominated proceedings so far but all it took was one good chance.
