Dani Alves claims that the time is right for Barcelona to put their recent woes behind them and complete a ‘historic comeback’ against AC Milan.
Barcelona are set to face AC Milan in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash with a two goal deficit from the first leg.
But Dani Alves believes that Barcelona have it in them to complete a turnaround unlike any seen in their recent history.
“We will do our utmost to try and win the game. If we don’t take risks we won’t win, though. We are not afraid of the task at hand,” Dani Alves told Barca TV.
“We have shown to be a great team, but we have never completed a historic comeback. Perhaps the moment has come to do it.
“People need to see that you’re going to fight to get to the next round. We need to have a connection.”
