Brazil midfielder Oscar has been speaking about life in London, having moved to England to join European Champions Chelsea last summer.

Oscar, 21, arrived from Internacional (Porto Alegre) for a fee of around £25 million and has quickly become an important first-team player for the West London side.

With his wife and family also settled in the English capital and his understanding of the language improving, he appears quite content with the decision he made in joining the club—in spite of the cold weather.

“I’m very happy and we are enjoying it more and more day by day, my wife and family,’ he told Chelsea’s official club website.

“Everybody is happy here and we are getting to know London a little bit more. I take English classes and it is improving all the time, so in two or three months I think I will speak more and I can already understand some. I’m very happy in spite of the cold!”

Regarding playing in the English league, the Brazilian also indicated that he now feels more accustomed to the high-tempo intensity of the Premier League.

“I am adapting to playing in England and the Premier League all the time,” he continued. “I think I’m playing well and now I’m starting games more often I feel like I’m doing well.

“I hope I can continue to do this as it helps my improvement, and I want to help Chelsea win games, competitions and titles.”
