PSG’s Nenê has promised a decision on his future on Tuesday after lowering his wage demands in negotiations with Santos according to reports in Brazil.
Terra claims the player has adjusted his request of €45k a week in light of Santos’ offer of €35k.
However, there is still a stumbling block in form of PSG’s demand of €4m for the Brazil winger.
“We know what he offers and they are not matching his value.What is at stake is the easiest way of him achieving his goal, which is to compete in the World Cup,” admitted Gilvan Costa, the player’s representative in Brazil.
Nei Pandolfo, director football at Santos, said: “It’s not new, these are normal contractual discussions. We are discussing the contract values up and down.
“Naturally he is making demands and negotiating his wages up. We will wait for a decision come this Tuesday.”
