The agent of Paris Saint-Germain forward Nenê has revealed that a number of French clubs are interested in signing the Brazilian.

Nenê has fallen out of favour with PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti and with his contract expiring in June, the 31-year-old has decided it is time leave the Parc des Princes.

Gilvan Costa, Nenê’s agent, is now exploring potential destinations for the winger and has revealed he could actually remain in France.

Costa told Globo Esporte: “There is still a market in Europe, other French clubs are interested. But he must think carefully to achieve his goal of playing for the Seleção.

“Nenê is already 31 years old. He is not thinking about the financial side.

“If this was the case, he would have moved to the Middle East. He would have a great life and gain a lot of money but would not taste football.”

Brasileirão outfit Santos are one of the teams who are strongly linked with making a move to sign Nenê.

“There were further discussions with Santos, with a better offer, but it is still not up to what we hope. So we will have a meeting in early 2013 to discuss things in more detail,” Costa added.
