The 27-year-old centre-back has taken advantage of the absent Dédé to be included in Mano Menezes 21-man squad to face Colombia next month.
Réver was part of Brazil’s starting line-up to face Argentina, but the game was called off due to floodlight failure, and also came on in Brazil’s 8-0 win over China.
The defender now wants to make the most of another opportunity to impress Menezes.
He said: “I am very pleased to have been invited. I was not there for the last two games against Iraq and Japan, but now I’m back with the Seleção and I am even more motivated.
“Personally I have a goal to reach the 2014 World Cup and I will work every day to get there.
“I hope to have my chance and play.”
The former Grêmio man currently has five international caps to his name.
