Corinthians coach Tite feels his side should not fear English giants Chelsea in the upcoming World Club Cup in Japan.

The coach revealed he watched Chelsea’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United: “It was a hell of a game, and unfortunately we had some interference from the referee. The Chelsea attacking midfield is very creative.”

Whilst he was positive about the Chelsea players, Tite insisted that they are not afraid: “Football does not scare me, not from here in Brazil or in Europe.”

Corinthians are already preparing for the competition in December, although it is unknown who they will play in the semi-final.

The possible opponents include Auckland City from New Zealand, and representatives from Japan and Africa which are not yet determined.

If they win their semi-final, they face the possibility of a final with Champions League holders Chelsea.

Corinthians are still battling in the Brasileirão, they remain in eighth place with five games left to play.
