Inter defender Juan Jesus has set his sights on winning the Serie A title with the Nerazzurri this season.

The Giuseppe Meazza side are currently joint third in the league, trailing leaders Juventus by four point.

However, the Seleção defender is determined to leapfrog the Turin giants before the end of the 2012-13 campaign.

He told Sportmediaset: “Are Inter in the hunt for the title? Yes, we always aim to be, this is a big club.

“Winning breeds success and it’s so much easier when things are going well.”

Inter face the league’s reigning champions, Juventus, next week but for now Juan is concentrating on their upcoming clash with Bologna.

“First and foremost we’re thinking about our next match, though. Let’s play well, get the win we need and then we can start to think about our next two opponents,” Juan added.

“You win when you’ve got togetherness and we have a great squad.”

The game at the Renato Dall’Ara on Sunday is scheduled to kick off at 14:00 BST.
