As the focal points of Mano Menezes’ Brazil side, it is important that Santos’ Neymar and Chelsea star Oscar enjoy a good relationship – particularly on-the-pitch.

However, over time, the duo have also become close friends off-the-pitch as the weeks spent on international duty together begin to rack-up.
There has been, though, a friendly rivalry emerging between the two in training, with both of the Seleção’s most vaunted players seeking to outdo each other and score points in their personal competition.
On Monday, it was Neymar’s turn to show up his team-mate, posting a picture on Instagram of him beating the Chelsea man with a clever piece of skill. He then added insult to injury for the embarrassed Oscar, joking: “Remember this trick, Oscar (laughs)”.
While the duo’s hi-jinx is all light-hearted and good to see, they will both be called back into action on Tuesday afternoon as Brazil take on Japan in Wroclaw.
