Brazil 6  Iraq 0

Goals: Oscar x2, Kaka, Hulk, Neymar and Lucas

The final whistle goes in Sweden. Great run out for Mano Menezes! Thanks for joining us here on Sambafoot.com

90′ +1 First save for Diego Alves! Ahmed shoots straight at the keeper following Marcelo’s error.

89′ Substitution – Iraq’s Muthana Khalid is replaced by Osama Rashid

89′ Substitution – Fernando, a 20-year-old midfielder from Gremio, makes his international debut. He was a key part of the Brazil Under-20 side that won the World Cup last year. He replaces Paulinho.

84′ Brazil are still looking for a seventh here and Iraq cant wait for this to end.

82′ Substitution – Man of the match Oscar, who has scored 2, is replaced by Dnipro’s Giuliano.

81′ Substitution – Ramires has been replace by Sandro.

80′ GOAL Brazil 6-0 Iraq (Lucas) – Lucas makes it six! The future PSG star picks the ball up on the left and plays a give-and-go with Neymar and then Running across the top of the box he does brilliantly to wrap his foot around the ball and drill a powerful effort past the rooted Sabri.

78′ Brazil’s night is complete and Sandro is preparing to come on. Just a matter of seeing the remaining minutes out now.

75′ GOAL Brazil 5-0 Iraq (Neymar) – There it is! And it’s a lovely effort. Neymar gets the ball on the left from Paulinho and cuts onto his right-foot, curling the ball into the far side of the goal.

74′ Thiago Neves comes on to replace Hulk. Lucas Moura on for Kaká.

72′ Hulk bundles through defenders as he is so accustomed to doing, but his right-foot cross is woeful and leads to a goal-kick.

69′ Neymar almost gets on the end of a Hulk cross from the right but, as has been his night, a defender just gets a foot in the way in-time.

66′ Iraq’s changes are working in that the rhythm of the game was lost long ago now. Brazil are getting sloppy in the knowedge that they’re in no danger at all.

63′ The substitutions flow as life itself flows away from this game. All that remains for Brazil is to get Neymar on the scoresheet.

59′ Brazil playing keep-ball now, as Iraq threaten for the first time. You feel a training session would have been as useful.

57′ Iraq have mustered as much opposition as China’s third team did. Brazil look like gods, but then, most teams would.

55′ GOAL Brazil 4-0 Iraq (Hulk) – The Zenit forward cuts in from the right and fires home left-footed via a deflection. Too easy.

53′ Fine save from Noor once more, this time at the feet of Oscar once again.

52′ Frustration for Iraq as a brilliant opportunity for a counter-attack comes to nothing.

51′ Now David Luiz wants a piece of the action, beating two men before seeing his shot well saved by Sabri Noor.

49′ Brazil’s newspapers have their lead story for tomorrow then as the experienced Real Madrid midfielder returns with a goal.

48′ GOAL Brazil 3-0 Iraq (Kaká) – The ball breaks after Nermar claims he is fouled in midfield and Kaká steams into the area. A step-over buys a yard of space and he smashes home left-footed.

47′ In the second-minute of the second-half Oscar is denied a hat-trick by a deft Noor save. The Chelsea man headed towards goal from six yards from Adriano’s cross from the right.

46′ Back underway in Malmo. Brazil playing from right-to-left.

Half Time – Brazil 2-0 Iraq (Oscar x2) – Mano Menezes will be content with that first-half showing. Brazil have done everything expected of them and the Oscar, Kaka and Neymar triangle is working well.

45′ Paulinho rattles the crossbar with a fine header from Hulk’s cross. He’s very unlucky there, the Corinthians midfielder.

44′ Oscar is forced wide on the right and looks to cross, but both eventual attempts are poor and the attack loses momentum.

43′ Neymar sets Kaká up in the left-hand channel this time. Another really good save from Noor to deny the Madrid star.

41′ Iraq’s right back is booked for a poor tackle on Marcelo. Could be joy there now.

39′ Kaká bursts into the area and skips over one challenge, avoiding the temptation to win a penalty, but his attempted chip is saved by the chest of Noor.

38′ Hulk takes and David Luiz gets a strong head on the free-kick, but the ball is well saved by Noor.

37′ Kaká breaks down the right, in advance of Adriano and wins a free-kick in the corner.

36′ It’s all a bit sloppy for Brazil in the base of midfield. They need to settle down once more. The Oscar, Kaká, Neymar triangle has been excellent so far.

35′ Luiz is off the pitch receiving treatment at the moment, so Paulinho has slipped into defence.

34′ There is a long delay in play now as Luiz receives treatment. It seems he was clattered by his goalkeeper there. It was abysmal defending.

32′ Calamity at the back for Brazil. Adriano passes the ball to the Iraqi striker before in the ensuing melee, David Luiz heads the ball to another Iraqi forward from virtually out of his keeper’s hands. How have they not conceded there?

30′ Adriano looks to create something for Brazil by storming down the right flank, but it is dealt with comfortably by the defence.

29′ Almost immediately Noor is forced into a fine low save with his feet to deny Hulk a third for Brazil.

27′ GOAL Brazil 2-0 Iraq (Oscar) – Kaká releases Neymar down the left once again and the starlet does brilliantly to slide the ball across the face of goal for Oscar to turn home.

26′ Neymar thinks he is behind the defence in the left channel once more but what’s this, brilliant tackle from the right-back to deny the forward.

25′ Iraq finally keeping the ball for a short while, but deep in their own half. They are suffering under Brazil’s high pressing.

24′ That goal really does owe a lot to Neymar and the Santos man almost causes a second goal, hassling his marker into a poor header which the advancing Paulinho comes close to turning home.

22′ GOAL Brazil 1-0 Iraq (Oscar) – That is beautiful. Neymar shows brilliant technique to turn his man and come off the left flank before sliding an inch-perfect ball through to Oscar who finishes calmly.

21′ Brazil are getting a bit ragged now. They aren’t showing enough patience in attack and, this time, Hulk’s ambitious cross sails behind for a goal-kick.

19′ Thus far, Iraq are defending very well. They are defending narrowly and causing the visitors difficulty.

18′ A bit of a lull in the game as both sides compete for possession. Iraq are well supported here.

16′ Lovely stuff from Oscar. Hulk turns to win space on the right, finding Oscar on his inside. The Chelsea man hits a low cross without looking towards Neymar and the ball just evades the Santos man.

15′ Yet again, Brazil win the ball back easily and look to counter. The attack slows down approaching the area though and Oscar is dispossessed.

14′ The game continues to head in one direction. Iraq stuggling to retain possession thus far.

13′ The crowd lights up as Neymar takes a wonderful first-touch to win space. His pass to Hulk is, though, comfortably intercepted.

12′ Adriano pushes on from right-back and moves inside onto his favoured left-foot. His shot is comfortably saved, though.

11′ Oscar has been heavily involved for Brazil so far. Linking well with Kaká this time, before the latter misplaces his pass.

10′ This time Hulk takes from the right and swings the ball in towards Noor’s goal. David Luiz heads over.

9′ Brazil continue to attack as Oscar’s corner is punched away by Noor as far as Adriano on the right who wins a further corner for the Seleção.

7′ Kaká is getting forward freely. He seems to have been charged with supporting Neymar. This time he heads Hulk’s cross at the back post, but the ball is gathered by Noor via a deflection.

6′ Kaká is almost on the scoresheet. Neymar once more finds space on the left and crosses tidily for the Real Madrid man who heads straight at Noor.

5′ Oscar gives Neymar space to run at his marker in the left channel area. Well defended by Ahmed Ibrahim.

4′ Brazil have the ball back and pass it around nicely with Kaká and Marcelo involved in the midfield area.

3′ A slow start to the game then. Brazil playing in Blue and stroking the ball around defence before David Luiz goes long, but wildy.

2′ This is a match, of course, noted for the return of Kaká to the Seleção. Brazil with the ball early on.

1′ We are underway in Malmo in a match Brazil are expected to win and win handsomely.
