Chelsea defender David Luiz has admitted that he supported Corinthians as a child, but since moving to Stamford Bridge 18 months ago he is now fully a blue.

In a wide-ranging interview with Folha de S.Paulo upon arriving in Poland, the base for the Brazil"s upcoming friendlies with Iraq, to be played in Sweden, and Japan, in Poland, Luiz spoke about life in London and about the World Club Cup.

He said: “Chelsea are not yet thinking about the World Club Cup. We have many important games in England and the Champions Legue before, but it will be cool.

“I was a Corintiano. I have a childhood photo with wearing the Corinthians strip, but I started very early in the game. From age  9 to 14 I was playing in São Paulo. There, I learned the other side of the football, we have to represent the club and not the heart.

“I always thought so. Therefore, my heart will not soften in Japan. Now, I am Chelsea."

Away from football, Luiz appears to be a keen gamer

“I really like to play “games". I have a room at home with games only.

“Last week, I was playing online with the boys from the national team[who were preparing to play Argentina in Sao Paulo]. I played with Dede and Leandro Damiao."
