Santos sensation Neymar has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s praise by saying it would be “a dream" to play alongside him.
Last week the Sweden international labelled Neymar as a “fantastic talent" and urged him to move to Europe to further his career.
The 20-year-old reaffirmed his desire to remain in Brazil but showed his appreciation for Ibrahimovic"s comments.
He said: “It is my objective to be surrounded by great players and he [Ibrahimovic] is one of those.
“It would be a dream to play with Ibrahimovic."
The Seleção international is contracted to Santos until 2014, which is when he will most likely move to Europe.
Clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on the young attacker, as well as Ibrahimovic’s new club Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar also spoke about international teammate Lucas Moura, who will join PSG in January, stating that Lucas has “made the right choice".
“The city of Paris is wonderful, but I"m at Santos, we"ll see," he added.
