Kaká has stressed that the whole Real Madrid team are behind Cristiano Ronaldo following his admission that he is unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portuguese winger said “a professional issue” is the reason behind his revelation but the Brazilian has insisted Ronaldo has the full support of his colleagues on the matter.

The 30-year-old said: “Cristiano is a key player for Real Madrid, and he knows that he has the full support of the team.

“The most important thing is that he is feeling well and is happy because he is very important for us. We will all support him.”

Kaká has also had a tough time recently following a turbulent summer of almost leaving Spain and worrying about his future with the La Liga giants.

The Seleção international has fell down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho, with players such as Mesut Özil and Luka Modrić ahead of him, and the outcast playmaker almost sealed moves back to former club AC Milan and Brazil.

However, a move did not materialise and Kaká has now expressed his desire to stay with the Los Blancos to fight for his place in the first team.

He added: “It motivates me to know that I’m one of them and I will be ready when the time comes.

“People on the street tell me that they expect me to play, and I know that I have the support of the crowd, who have always treated me well.

“The Supercopa was a demonstration that Real Madrid are ready to win titles this season. I want to play in the World Cup in Brazil. I hope to have a run here, and then get back to my top level.”

Ronaldo was expected to speak to the press in Portugal on Monday morning as part of a tribute to Sporting scout Aurelio Pereira but the attacker did not show up for reasons that are unknown as of yet.
