The agent of AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has reassured the club’s fans that his client will not be leaving the San Siro this summer.

The Brazil international turned down a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January, but recent speculation has suggested that the 22-year-old still remains a transfer target for the French club.

However, despite Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic swapping Milan for PSG this summer, Pato’s representative insists that the striker will be playing for the Rossoneri next season.

”Alexandre is calm, he is working towards the Olympics with Brazil and after that will be going back to Milan to become their protagonist,” Gilmar Veloz told Tuttomercatoweb.

”There was a possibility in January for him to go to PSG, but now that is part of the past because we did not reach an agreement.

”He will stay at Milan and he is happy to play with the Rossoneri. The club sold Ibrahimovic and Silva, we cannot help that. These are decisions made by the club.

”Today, Alexandre is a Milan player until June 2014, for now we are not speaking about a new contract because there are still two years to go.”
