The agent of Barcelona defender Adriano has revealed that his client his happy at the club and will not leave the Camp Nou this summer.
The 27-year-old only started 13 games for Barca last season, and it has been reported that he will leave the Catalan giants this summer.
However, Adriano’s representative has revealed that the Brazilian wing-back will soon begin talks with Barcelona over a contract extension.
”Adriano is very happy at Barca and will continue there next season. It was very difficult for him to finally arrive at this club and he will continue here. Furthermore, the relationship with the board is great,” Paolo Alfonso told Radio COM.
”As is normal for a player with two years remaining on his contract, Adriano will be negotiating a renewal. But there is no hurry.”
”Right now, the player is on vacation and I will be with him in a few days.”
