Inter Milan technical director Marcos Branca has indicated that Maicon could leave the San Siro this summer.
The 30-year-old right-back has recently been linked with a move to Real Madrid but it is now being reported that Chelsea are in pole position to acquire his services.
Branca met with Inter’s head coach Andrea Stramaccioni on Tuesday to discuss the club’s future plans and informed reporters of the latest news on his way out.
”Is Maicon leaving? This will take a while, so we won’t have any more news on this today,” he said.
