Manchester United full-back Rafael is likely to start as Brazil take on Argentina this Saturday and insists that opposite number Lionel Messi can be marked.

Rafael, 21, has never come up against the Argentine at club level, missing both of his club’s recent Champions League finals – but will know the Barcelona man’s game well.

“Messi is brilliant, but he is not impossible to mark,” Rafael said on Friday.

“I just need to do what I know well, mark my man and play football. If they don’t have Messi… Any player can be marked!”

Rafael looks set to replace Danilo at right-back in the final chance to impress before London 2012.
