The 27-year-old playmaker played a key role in Atlético’s successful Europa League campaign, but the Brazilian has admitted that the Spanish club have still not offered him a long-term contract.
”The truth is, I have no offer from the club to continue playing here next season,” Diego told AS.
”I have a spectacular relationship with my teammates. Diego Simeone has also proven his value as a coach by winning the Europa League, and I hope to continue at this club that respects me.”
