Ramires, 25, has impressed throughout the season for the Blues and now, former-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reported to be close to making a move for his preferred target.
With Nuri Sahin and Lassana Diarra set to leave the Bernabeu, Mourinho sees Ramires as an ideal addition to his midfield, driving the Madrid side forward as they seek to counter-attack.
The move seems unlikely, but it appears that Mourinho will at least test the water for the former-Cruzeiro star.
