Alba has impressed in La Liga this season and reports in Spain have suggested that the 23-year-old is set to move to the Camp Nou in the summer.
Former Valencia coach, Unai Emery, recenly claimed that Los Che had already agreed to sell Alba, but the 40-year-old did not reveal which club the left-back will be joining.
Speaking at press conference on Thursday, Adriano did not wish to say whether or not his side had captured Alba’s signature, but the Brazilian admitted he was fan of the Spanish player.
”I really like Jordi Alba as a footballer, he is a very good player, very good defensively,” Adriano said.
”He can also do a lot of damage when he goes up the field and he has a lot of technical quality.
”If Barça sign him, he would be welcome.”
