Despite a midweek trip to the altitude of La Paz, Santos came back with a display of strength to tear through São Paulo and mark a 3-1 win in the Morumbi.

Santos were once more endebted to 20-year-old Neymar, whose superb hat-trick set the Peixe on course to their brilliant win away from home and a place in the São Paulo state championship final, alongside Guarani.
