The 28-year-old will make his way to the Allianz Arena as soon as the summer transfer window opens on the 1st July, after Monchengladbach accepted Bayern’s reported €4.7 million offer for the Brazilian last Thursday.
”Since I have been at Borussia, I’ve always said what my goals are. Bayern Munich is one of those goals – I have always wanted to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world,” Dante told Express.
”I am very happy that the move will happen. I’m at an age where I have to accept such an offer. This is my last chance to achieve something great.
”It’s not easy to leave a club where you feel so comfortable.
”I’ve had three-and-a-half great years at Gladbach. Borussia have really opened the door to the Bundesliga. My son was born here. It is not just a city, leaving a club where you feel so comfortable, like I do with Borussia.”
