The 23-year-old centre-back has impressed since arriving at Braga from Corinthians do Pilar on loan last summer and news of a possible move to Porto will come as little-surprise to those aware of his talents.
”There is an interest from several European teams, including Porto, but there is nothing official,” Vilela said on the KGM Sports Agency’s official website.
“We will wait until the end of the season to make a decision. Ewerton still has one year left on his Braga contract.
“The truth is that he is very happy and he hopes to win a lot of titles at the club.”
Ewerton is on loan at Braga from Corinthians do Pilar until June 2013, with his economic rights belonging to Brazilian bank, BMG.
