Fucile’s comments come a week after Santos took on Juan Aurich in the Copa Libertadores, a game which saw the 20-year-old striker compare the rough challenges suffered to a UFC fight.
“Neymar is unpredictable,” Fucile said in an interview with Terra Esporte. “He can go everywhere with the ball and it is very hard for defenders to stop a player with this quality.
“It is not easy at all to stop Neymar if you only go for the ball. That is why he gets hit so often. He will have to deal with that a lot.”
Neymar has found himself targetted due to his technical ability, but whilst he remains so far ahead of the opposition, it is a situation unlikely to change.
