The former Manchester City player met with leaders of Internacional on Friday to explain his actions and to learn his punishment.
After the meeting, the clubs director of football, Cuca Lima, told reporters:
”We decided to fine Jo’s wages and he will train away from the first-team for an indefinite period of time.”
