Yestarday after match with Villarreal president Dynamo Igor Surkis introduced to journalists the new player of ukrainian club defender Rodrigo da Costa from Sao Paulo. Player was the one from the best defenders in Brazil Championship-2004. He has written the contract with Dynamo on five years.
“I had several offers among them from Shakhtar Donetsk,” said Rodrigo. “But I haven’t especially known this club, I haven’t known anything about it traditions. Now I’m here because I’ve known Dynamo, known history of this team. Besides I’ve got a big desire to play for the brazil national team. And I hope that my performance for Dynamo will approach me to this aim.” Igor Surkis said that Rodrigo was called for the last game of the Selesao but Pereirra left him to Kyiv.
Rodrigo has become fourth brazilian player in Dynamo. Another ones are Rodolfo, Diogo Rincon and Kleber. Rodrigo won’t be able to play on UEFA Cup because he hasn’t declared in this competition.
