Casemiro, who was linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window, was one of the star performers in the Tricolor"s 3-0 win over Guarantinguetá on Thursday, and after the game, the 20-year-old admitted he was pleased with his display.

"I"m happy with my current form, but I can still improve," the midfielder told Globoesporte.

"I want to go back and be the Casemiro who was playing in the main team, who won a place in the Brazilian squad and was praised by the [São Paulo] president."

Casemiro will miss São Paulo"s game against XV de Piracicaba this Sunday, after recieving his third yellow card in the Campeonato Paulista against Guarantinguetá.

Any player that recieves three bookings in the competition must serve an automatic one-match ban.
