Recent reports in Brazil have suggested that Elano is unhappy with life at the Vila Belmiro, after learning he would be used as bargaining chip in a deal for Grêmio midfielder Douglas, who joined Corinthians on Thursday.
”He is still at Santos, but if there is an offer and he wants to go, there is no player I want to stay if they’re not happy and satisfied,” Ribeiro said.
Elano’s contract with Santos runs until December 2013.
