Motta, 29, will add huge experience to the Parisien midfield after twelve years in professional football which have seen the midfielder play for Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan amongst others.

The Italian international’s arrival means an uncertain future for the likes of Clement Chantome, who has already found himself out of the first team reckoning since the arrivals of several midfield options in the summer.

Thiago will add to the growing Brazilian contingent at the Paris giants, joining Maxwell, Ceará and Nenê, as well as Director of Football Leonardo, at the Parc des Princes.
