On Sunday Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas claimed he didn’t want to sign any players that were cup-tied in the Champions League but did go on to admit that he thought Willian was a ‘very interesting player.’
However Shaktar Donetsk’s CEO, Sergei Palkin, told Sky Sports news that the club have recieved a €20 million bid from Chelsea which they immediatly rejected.
It’s understood the Ukrainian giants are holding out for €30 million for Willian despite the former Corinthians player having a €35 million release clause.
