The 30-year old goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs and has been told by coach Harry Redknapp that he’s free to leave White Hart Lane this January.
It’s understood QPR boss Mark Hughes is desperate to strengthen the R’s defence and has identified Gomes as a transfer target.
