The 22-year old forward injured his left thigh during the Rossoneri’s 2-1 win against Novara in the Copa Italia on Wednesday.
Pato will now miss the AC Milan’s games against Lazio, Cagliari, Napoli and Udinese, but should return in time for the Champions League last 16 tie against Arsenal at the San Siro.
