Ciro, 22, has fallen out of favour at Fluminense and is considered well behind the likes of Fred, Rafael Sobis and Rafael Moura in the pecking order and is now looking to relocate to the North-East once more, if Bahia can agree loan-terms with parent club Sport Recife.

The talented young forward struggled to make an impact in Fluminense colours, but will hope to kick-start his promising career at Bahia, as so many others have done in recent times.

Bahia are also hoping to persuade Internacional to terminate the contract of unwanted midfielder Ze Roberto, who although talented has lacked consistency at the Gaúcho side.

Should he join Bahia, fans will be presented with the possibility of the midfielder lining-up alongside fellow-maverick Carlos Alberto in a midfield that promises to be entertaining, in one way or another.

Bahia promise to be an interesting assortment of characters once more in 2012.
