The 39-year old midfielder has signed a one-year deal with the Girabola outfit and will now become the first international star to of ever played in an African league.
After signing the deal, Rivaldo said at a press conference:
”My contract with São Paulo has ended and I feel I still have the conditions to continue playing.”
”I received proposals from different countries, but I opted for Angola because of the language and because I felt pleased with the project.”
”I have been a champion in every country where I have played, I have always given my best for every club I have represented, so I am confident.”
”I am sure that I will be happy at Kabuscorp and in Angola.”
