After the departure of Mariano, the Carioca club almost immediately found a replacement at right back, adding Bruno Vieira to their squad.
Vieria will undergo a medical in Rio de Janeiro and is expected to be presented to the media some time next week.
The official announcement was made by Fluminense’s director of Football, Sandro Lima, via the Tricolors official website.
The statement read; ”The arrival of Bruno is important because it represents an immediate replacement and one of quality. International, Sao Paulo, Botafogo and Flamengo also tried to hire him, but we achieved our goal. We feel for the departure of Mariano, a player who made history with the tricolor jersey, and wish luck to Bruno, who comes to us with confidence.”
