CSKA Moscow managed to cause an upset on Wednesday night by beating Italian giants, Internazionale, 2-1 in Milan, to advance in to the last sixteen of the Champions League.

Despite the prospect of playing in the later stages of Europe’s most prestigious competition, the striker’s agent, Evandro Ferreira, insists his client still holds the desire to return to back to his home land in the January transfer window.

”He does not want to stay (at CSKA Moscow). Vagner has no more commitment and courage to continue. He’s very sad and wants to leave,” said Ferreira.

Reports from sections of the Brazilian press claimed that Gremio tried to negotiate a deal with the Russian club in November, but were put off by the €15 million price tag CSKA Moscow placed on their star striker.

Vagner Love’s former side, Flamengo, have also declared their interest in bringing the striker back to the Carioca club, but have yet to make an offer.
