Rafinha recently signed a new contract with Barcelona, keeping him with the Champions League winners until the summer of 2014.

The eighteen year old midfielder had recently made his first team debut in Barcelona’s 1-0 win against second division side, L’Hospitalet in the Copa del Ray.

The midfielder replaced Cesc Fabregas half way through the second half and is now hoping coach Josep Guardiola will give him more playing time in the near future.

Speaking to Catalunya Radio, Rafinha said, ”Playing alongside my brother in the first team would be incredible, something spectacular. That really would be a dream come true.”

Rafinha is the son of 94 World cup winner Mazinho, and despite being called up to play for Spain’s U-19s, but Brazilian citizen has the option to play for Brazil, unlike brother Thiago who switched nationality, playing for Spain in Euro 2012 qualifiers.
