‘The Fish’, will take on the winners of the Quarter Final between Monterrey (MEX) and either Auckland or the Japanese league champions – likely to be Gamba Osaka, Kashiwa Reysol (coached by Brazilian Nelson Baptista) or Nagoya Grampus.
It can only be in the final that an encounter with Barcelona is possible, with Monterrey the likely semi-final opponent based on rankings.
The tournament runs between 8-18 December, with Santos scheduled to debut on 14 December in Toyota.
