Forward Luizão has officially joined São Paulo for the season 2005.
The world champion 2002 signed a contract last Friday with the Paulista club, the duration and the value were not revealed.
At 29 years old, Luiz Carlos Goulart will try to boost his career after one year 2004 disappointing under the colors of Hertha Berlin and Botafogo-RJ.
The São Paulo supporters hope to find in him the worthy successor of the “goleador” Luis Fabiano, from now on in Porto.
Luizão is the fourth official recruit of São Paulo after the arrivals of Falcão (world champion of Futsal with Brazil), Josué (Goias) and Mineiro (São Caetano).
