Lance! reports that Teixeira is set to be questioned over allegations made by BBC journalist Andrew Jennings in his Panorama programme, which aired last year.
In the programme, Jennings claimed that Teixeira was one of a number of FIFA officials who took bribes from marketing company ISL in regards to television rights.
It was also reported that the amount offered in bribes was close to $200 million, and were held in bank accounts in ‘tax haven’ Liechtenstein.
Now, police want to find out from Teixeira if any of the money was illegally sent to Brazil.
